Pike County is ready for growth. Focusing the businesses and busy city centers to allow residents to continue to enjoy the beauty of the farms and wide open spaces is a priority for the community. Comprised of the cities of Zebulon, Concord, Meansville, Molena and Williamson, the county boasts an excellent school system and an active recreation department. Combined with a number of business/industrial parks and sites, as well as, a desire for quality economic development have turned Pike County into an ideal place for business and industry.

Building strong working relationships with local, county and state government officials, agencies and departments, the Development Authority of Pike County is ready to assist existing and potential businesses with their location and expansion plans. The Pike County Development Authority will also assist companies in site locations, buildings, and other professional services in addition to helping them contact any necessary state agencies for permitting and other needs.

The Development Authority of Pike County through its Strategic Plan is focusing on the kind of growth that fits well into the Pike County culture. The future of the county, the addition of tax dollars for the county while maintaining the kind of character that makes Pike County a desirable place to live.
